Then £90 an hour, in £22.50 quarter-hour increments.
No additional priority fee. Overnight visits are not offered.
Same-day and out-of-hours visits are subject to availability.
First hour is the minimum charge, even if we finish sooner. Customer prices include VAT where applicable. Materials and any chargeable collection time are agreed separately. Read our materials policy.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Before you book.
Can I put several jobs into one visit?
Yes. Send the list first so we can check the tasks and put the most important ones first.
What happens if my time allowance runs out?
We’ll agree a safe stopping point or ask you to approve extra time if the diary allows it. There is no automatic extension beyond the agreed limit.
What about materials and collection time?
We normally carry a range of everyday fixings and consumables. Larger quantities, specialist items or materials may need to be collected from a merchant. We’ll explain what is needed and agree the purchase cost and estimated collection time with you before leaving.
Approved collection time, including travel to and from the merchant, counts towards your visit time and spending allowance at the same rate as the work. For standard-hours visits, the first hour is included in the £130 minimum and additional time is £15 per 15 minutes. For evening/weekend visits, the first hour is £195 and additional time, including approved collection, is £22.50 per 15 minutes. Charges are calculated across the total chargeable visit time. A collection trip does not trigger another call-out fee.
Materials are charged separately at the agreed price. We won’t exceed your authorised allowance without approval. Time spent correcting our own preparation errors is not chargeable.
Can I request same-day or out-of-hours help?
Yes. Both are subject to availability. Evening/weekend visits cost £195 for the first hour, then £90 an hour in £22.50 increments. There is no extra priority fee and we do not offer overnight visits.
Is priority guaranteed?
Only after we confirm the priority arrival window. The £60 supplement applies only to a confirmed priority visit and is refunded if we miss that window.
How are my details used?
Your contact details, job address, request and booking history are stored to arrange and manage the service. Arundel Carpentry & Construction and the assigned handyman can access the details needed for your visit. Your private booking link also grants access, so keep it safe. We use your phone and optional email for booking messages, not marketing. Please don’t include sensitive personal information. Contact info@arundelcarpentry.co.uk to ask about your data.
